me share a little of my story and see if

Hi,
my name is Danielle Chonody. I live in
Euless, Texas
with my husband Todd and my step-son Andrew. Our pets are also
a special part of my family - we have two Burmese cats, and a
yellow Labrador retriever.
I met my husband Todd when my
engineering career brought me from
Australia
to the
US
in late 2000. When we met we both had promising careers and
decided to settle down, get married and buy a house in Dallas
Fort Worth. Suddenly
I had an instant family.
Our careers flourished, but I found that as I
climbed the corporate career ladder that with each new
position and pay increase came more responsibility, stress,
travel, and less time to spend with my new family and our
pets. I realized that I was no longer enjoying my job and that
I wanted to find more fulfilling work. I wanted to discover my
life purpose. I started reading books on alternative careers
in the hope of finding something more fulfilling.
In mid-2003
my life changed. I found a book that explained how to run a
pet sitting business. It
made sense as my pets had always been important in my life. I
started my own in-home pet sitting business –
Claws Paws
& Jaws - part-time later that year and found that I loved
working with animals and also loved the freedom of being my
own boss, making business decisions, and self marketing the
business.
In the career
books I read they made making a career shift sound easy –
just downsize your lifestyle if the career of your dreams pays
less. The books didn’t seem to consider people like me. I felt a responsibility to maintain the lifestyle of
my family, had high credit card debts to pay, and a large
mortgage on a house my family loved and didn’t want to give
up. I felt stuck - restricted in my ability to grow my pet
sitting business because of the time restraints of my full
time job, but reliant on this job to pay the bills.
Then I stumbled across my current direct sales pet company on the internet.
Direct sales
was a concept I was vaguely familiar with but I was skeptical
because of the negative publicity about pyramid marketing
schemes. However, I read up on the direct sales concept and was excited
about the time freedom and residual income it could offer me.
I was also attracted by the potential it would give me to help
others in my situation to find their way to financial freedom.
My team have
taught me the importance of using the internet as a marketing
tool. I lead a
busy life and don’t have time to be working my business
every day – but with the internet I can interact with customers
even when I am asleep!
This company has given me tremendous support and
training and I now have a renewed confidence that one day my
family will be debt free and I will be able to work from
home. I feel like I have more control over my life and my
future.
I am looking for others that
share my enthusiasm for the products, are self driven, are
willing to learn and be coached, and want to build a better
life for their families.
